A one-man-business founded in Leipzig in July 2022 by Dennis Braun.

Dennis's primary goal is to develop DJ mixers that are not only inspiring and fun to use, but also boast exceptional quality. He has always been passionate about music. As a long-time DJ, he knows the craft and understands the importance of having the right tools for the job.

With a bachelor's degree in precision engineering and a master's degree in laser and optotechnology, Dennis has a strong foundation in technical expertise. Before founding SOA BEM, he worked as a research associate in medical technology, primarily developing instruments for minimally invasive surgery.

Dennis believes that in order to create sustainable products, it’s important for them to have character and a functional, timeless design. This way, they can be enjoyed for decades.

The first mixer, the OLHO-2R, was developed over a period of two years, and the production of a single mixer takes several days. Dennis is incredibly grateful and proud to have poured his blood, sweat, and tears into this project. Because in the end, it's about the one thing we all share: the love of music.
